Nobody wants to hear you argue with your mother/boyfriend/psychic/landlord or whatever. What happened to PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS?Why is it that a cell phone renders some people incapable of displaying manners?
I start singing show tunes at full volume right next to the obnoxious cell phone addict. And if they're really annoying, I do it in my Ethel Merman voice.
';There's NO business like SHOW business ...';Why is it that a cell phone renders some people incapable of displaying manners?
We have freedom of speech. If you don't like that, you can move your sanctimonious @$$ over to the Middle East, where women don't speak, period. Sheeny- so you're saying its fine for you to have a conversation in a restaurant, but it's not so for people with a cell phone? That's ignorant and discriminatory, you prick.
Prisoners are there in jail to be punished, they shouldn't be given private phones.
What's wrong with good old chain gangs?
I think it was overridden by the need to be reached anytime, anywhere.
I agree. Some of those people have those conversations in the craziest places too. I've heard them happen in changing rooms and bathrooms. Why would you have a private conversation as you pee?
I couldn't agree with you more. I am sick of sitting at a restaurant and afraid to talk because someone is talking on their cell phone. How rude!
I don't have a cellphone but I don't travel much either. I'm amazed that while I'm out with people at lunch they answer their phone and carry on a conversation while they eat. I could care less about hearing strangers yak about their details also. How many times have I almost been wiped out by some woman in an SUV while she's yapping on her cell phone - I lost count. I refuse to have that thing attached to me bc I'm not on call 24/7 for anyone.
Thank you for pointing that out to all the freakin rude people that leave their manners at home if they had any. Some people don't have the capability to understand how inconsiderate they are to others around restaurants, movie houses and the general public..
Cell phones generate radiation that fries the brains of people who are using them. Thus, resulting in the rudeness you describe.
