In an episode of Alias there is a device that renders people unconscious/catatonic using strobe lighting...?

I cannot for the life of me find any information on the device, the episode, or anything connected with it. I am sure it was Alias though, and as I recall she was in what looked to be some kind of planetarium, the device may have been ball-shaped, and its effects were only temporary. Disguised as a businesswoman, Sydney makes a presentation in Vietnam during which she flashes a strobe light that renders the audience unconscious for 3 minutes, allowing her time to access to the server room and obtain the data. Finding the hard drive bay empty, Sydney runs to the repair room but Dixon beats her there and discovers the correct hard drive before Sydney can switch it.





I am glad i finally found the answer, I read your question and I remembered it happening but could not think of the episode, so I searched on line and found nothing than i looked through secret identities an unofficial and unauthorized guide to ALIAS and searched through each episodes op tech once I found the episode I could remember everything.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I can't think of which episode it's in. I'll look around the web, maybe my DVD's, and try to find it. When I do, I'll post it here first =)





It's apparently in the first season, although I couldn't find the exact episode =(
