How to increase the resolution of renders in 3ds Max 2009?

I need to know how to increase the resolution/size of a model i'm rendering in 3ds Max 2009. The render result is so small/low-res that it can hardly be used for anything.How to increase the resolution of renders in 3ds Max 2009?
In the render pull-down menu, press render. There should be a window that pops up telling you your information. Wether to save the file, which renderer you are using, and resolution. some of the presets are 320 by 240, and 640 by 480, but your can type your own in.How to increase the resolution of renders in 3ds Max 2009?
In the render settings dialog. Are you just hitting the render button? There should be a button next to it that brings up the dialog where you can change things like the final size.
