How do you render a video for youtube in widescreen but with out being HD?

I have sony vegas 9 pro, and rendering a video in HD takes so long on my computer, but really like having my youtube videos in widescreen. Is there a way to do this with out having it as HD?How do you render a video for youtube in widescreen but with out being HD?
Use Windows Movie Maker. They don't even support HD formats.
