I wish to undertake a sanitary project where urine can be converted to water and other compunds in portable gadgets. What chemicals compound or element can be added to render urine odourless?
chlorophyllin /chlo路ro路phyl路lin/ (klor麓o-fil-in) any of the water-soluble salts from chlorophyll; used topically and orally for deodorizing skin lesions and orally for deodorizing the urine and feces in colostomy, ileostomy, and incontinence; used particularly in the form of the copper complex.

I heard about this product a long time ago... still around so it probably works... Called body Mint... you might be able to figure out what chemicals this product works with.

i think urine and iodine aren't friends (I can't remember). Bleach also possibly.
Run it through a carbon filter, but you need to do more than remove the odor to make it water.
enzymes baby, enzymes
more than likely water.
